Loss due to insurance premium increase
As the premium of Rs 20,000,300 per hectare is paid by the insurance company for the mango crop, many mango growers have not purchased mango crop insurance. So these farmers must have missed the insurance amount. The farmers demanded that the government compensate those farmers affected by the disaster.
Many farmers like me did not come forward to buy insurance due to the high amount of insurance premium and the oppressive conditions to buy insurance.
