New partnership to offer withdrawal and hosting services to retail and small business customers
Bank of Ireland and An Post announced that a range of local banking services are now available at 923 post offices in Ireland
The partnership with An Post enables Bank of Ireland customers to perform banking services at local post offices in communities across the country.
Bank of Ireland customers can now make deposits and withdrawals of cash (banknotes and coins) and check deposits at An Post branches.
Gavin Kelly, CEO of Bank of Ireland Retail, said: âWe are delighted to see our partnership with An Post now operational at 923 locations across the country and ahead of the closure of one of our branches.
“Our customers do not have to make any changes to be able to benefit from An Post branch services and they will now be able to bank at approximately 1,100 branches across the country.”
Debbie Byrne, Managing Director of An Post Retail welcomed the new partnership which will offer withdrawal and deposit services to individuals and small businesses at Bank of Ireland through the An Post network, now in 923 post offices across across the country.

Important information for Bank of Ireland customers:
Bank of Ireland customers with the following accounts can conduct banking transactions at post offices:
Personal current accounts, including Young Saver, 2nd level, 3rd level, graduate, golden years, basic bank accounts, professional current accounts as well as personal and professional current deposit accounts.
· Bank of Ireland customers will need their debit card or ATM card to make cash deposits or withdrawals at An Post branches.
· Bank of Ireland customers will need a new personalized deposit slip to make a check deposit.
To ensure that cash deposited at a post office is credited to the Bank of Ireland accounts on the same day, cash must be deposited by 4.30 p.m.
