CHARLESTON, West Virginia – Governor Jim Justice announced the winners of 126 prizes in the state’s Do it for Babydog: Round 3 vaccination competition on Friday.
Mauren Fisher of Fairmont took home this week’s individual grand prize from a $ 50,000 education savings fund.
25 other West Virginia youth each won a $ 10,000 education savings fund prize. All education savings fund prices will come in the form of a 529 plan, managed by the state treasurer’s office, which will be invested and grow over time. The fund can be used for all education related expenses, not just higher education.
Another 100 young West Virginia won a license to hunt and fish for life.
The school winning this week’s scholastic grand prize – which includes a check for $ 50,000 and a party with Gov. Justice and Babydog – will be announced during the week of November 29.
Friday marks the first of four weeks of the Do it for Babydog: Round 3 awards show.
