AUGUSTA – Kennebec Savings Bank President and CEO Andrew Silsby recently announced that Stephanie Purnell has been hired as the bank’s branch manager at Waterville Main Street, according to a bank press release.
Among other responsibilities, Purnell is responsible for the day-to-day management of the branch and staff, developing new business through active marketing and business development, and coaching, mentoring and training his team. to provide excellent customer service.
“Stephanie is passionate about her team and driving success through collaboration,” said Paige O’Donnell, vice president of retail banking at Kennebec Savings Bank. “At Kennebec Savings Bank, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service and teamwork, and Stephanie is the perfect person to lead this effort at our Waterville Main Street branch.
Purnell joined the bank with over 16 years of banking experience, most recently as AVP & Banking Center manager. In addition to his extensive background, Purnell is a Waterville native and has developed great relationships with the surrounding community.
