Danbury resident Noreen (D’Aiuto) Vondle, 69, has died

Noreen (D’Aiuto) Vondle, 69, of Danbury, wife of the late Dallas A. Vondle, died on Friday February 25, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Vondle was in Queens, NY on December 16, 1952, daughter of the late Sarah (Tagliarini) and the late George J. D’Aiuto Sr.

She attended schools in New York and Danbury when the family moved from New York to Danbury in 1965. She graduated from Danbury High School-Class of 1969.

A resident of Danbury for fifty-seven years, she served first as a retired customer service representative with Union Savings Bank and later with Sikorsky Credit Union.

She was a Beatles fan and collected everything Beatles related. She also enjoyed Hallmark Channel programs.

Mrs. Vondle is survived by two sons, David Vondle and his wife Tricia of Alexandria, VA, and Morgan Vondle of Danbury, a brother George D’Aiuto and his wife Janice of Sandy Hook, CT, and four grandchildren Ava, Laila, Sarah, and Caroline.

A Christian Burial Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 372 Main St. Danbury.

Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Danbury.

There will be no calling hours.
