A longtime resident of County Strafford, Michel resides in Dover with her two daughters and French bulldog Stella. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire and joined The Residence at Silver Square with several years of experience in the senior living industry.

Michel also previously worked for Holiday Retirement as Community Sales Manager, as well as for CaptionCall as Regional Outreach Manager. Funded by the federal government under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Michel’s work at CaptionCall has helped people with hearing loss communicate with more confidence.

James Carrigan promoted to MVSB

PORTSMOUTH — James “Jim” Carrigan was recently promoted to Regional Vice President, Branch Manager and Business Development for MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank). In this role, Carrigan will continue to manage the Bank’s Portsmouth office at 2839 Lafayette Road. It will also support the new Rochester office at 21 Farmington Road (Route 11), which is currently under construction and is expected to open in late May. Jolene Whitehead, branch and business development manager, will oversee the day-to-day operations of Rochester.

Carrigan joined MVSB in 2017 as Branch and Business Development Manager for the Portsmouth branch, bringing with him over 10 years of banking experience. He is a 2015 Hoffman-Hass Scholar from the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits and a member of the Seacoast Leadership Class of 2019. Carrigan studied business and communications at Southern New Hampshire University.

Carrigan regularly volunteers for several community organizations including the Krempels Center in Portsmouth, the Parma Music Festival and the Gardens of the Monarch School of New England Horticultural Program. He lives in an approved wildlife sanctuary with this woman and her two children and enjoys cooking and gardening.
